As a rapidly growing international startup we are seeking a Sales Director, based in Tel-Aviv. The successful candidate will be a high impact sales professional who is technically savvy, creative, with strong personal vision, and great people skills to lead Rapyd’s sales team in Israel as well as contribute to the revenue growth of the team and develop our core merchant relationships.
As a Sales Director you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities:
- Owning and hitting/exceeding quarterly sales targets (individual and team target)
- Building and developing a healthy sales pipeline
- Developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
- Leading and developing the Sales team in Tel-Aviv
- Establishing and growing a collaborative, delivery-oriented team culture
- Defining and penetrating key segments across the EMEA region
- Iterating on our go-to-market strategies
- Developing revenue bearing relationships with merchants and partners
- Developing the regional pipeline business and go-to-market strategy
- Monitoring the health of each relationship against performance metrics
- Coaching the sales team members
- Evangelizing the product and our network with key constituents
- Informing the product roadmap based on the region’s needs
- Representing Rapyd at partners and conferences
- Building the Rapyd brand in the region and with the partner community
Requirements
- Must have proven talent ‘closing’ and beating measurable sales targets
- Must have a minimum of 8 years in Sales and Business Development
- Must have at least 3 years of experience managing sales teams
- Must have at least 3 years in the payments or high-tech industries
- Must have experience in a fast growing organization
- Must have great writing and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional knowledge of international and online payments
- Good understanding of regulatory and compliance issues related to payments and cross-border payments
- Strong personal leadership skills
- Flexible, creative thinker able to adapt to many environments
- Demonstrated experience in a high-pressure or startup environment
- Proven track record managing complex projects to completion
- Strong knowledge of APIs, integration, and mobile technology important
- Ability to travel regionally
