Reporting to our Network Operations Leader in San Diego, the operations team is looking for someone with attention to detail, who is eager to expand their knowledge in a fast-paced environment where change is constant, and communication is key. The mission of this group is to provide 24x7x365 operations support, where information and updates must be concise at handoff

About the role--
Primarily focused on:

• Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy.
• Develops automation solutions/frameworks by studying requirements; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development life cycle.
• Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement.
• Code automated tests and deploy in containerized Devops environments.
• Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
• Identify key KPIs for product quality
• Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes.

About You--

• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Designing and developing software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences.
• Understanding of Micro-services and its architecture.
• Directing software programming and documentation development.
• Hands on in automation tools e.g. Selenium/Jmeter/Appium
• Ability to code in Java/Golang, Python/Perl/Shell scripts - Experience using functional. programming language required.
• Understanding of Micro-services and its architecture.
• Directing software programming and documentation development.
• Exposure working with any of the cloud service providers. For example: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud etc

Highly Favorable Skills:

• Prior experience in automating video transcoding services and video streaming platforms
• Hands-on experience on docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Micro-services and its architecture
