Reporting to the Principal, Software Engineering our Solution Engineering team is looking for an enthusiastic Software Engineer Trainee to design, develop, test and implement new ideas for our software applications and solutions!

About the role--

• This role requires a good academic background with limited level experience, specifically responsible for the overall delivery process of a software application or service; including but not limited to design, development, testing, deployment, production application support (ex. troubleshooting) with a focus on automation.
  
  

Success in this role requires--

• Collaborating with other software engineers to gather and review software requirements/ user stories, provide estimates, create software design specifications and collaborate with engineers/ architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions.
• Executing a specific development methodology through application of various programming languages.
• Creating and executing automated test plans/strategies utilizing business requirements and collaborating with engineers/architects, etc. to validate test environments, test data and test results, design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results and produce associated reporting.
• In addition to Unit Test, responsibility may include dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing and/or user acceptance testing.
• Supporting applications and solving configuration and environment issues.
• Supporting the software deployment process.

• Working knowledge of technical principles & ability to learn new programming languages

• Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with ability to work with some ambiguity and comfort working cross functionally.
• Strong interpersonal, written, verbal and communication skills
