We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Product Marketing Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our revolutionary accounting solution. You will be responsible for creating compelling narratives that will be the driving force behind our growth and retention of paying users. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, persuasive storyteller, and self-starter who thrives in a fast paced startup environment.
This is your opportunity to lead Product Marketing at a well-funded startup led by an accomplished fintech founder. In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams to define and communicate the Puzzle story to founders and finance professionals- positioning us as the leading core accounting solution, in a competitive space with decades old incumbents. Join us remotely from anywhere in the US or Canada as we embark on this exciting journey.

What you'll do

Collaborate closely with the Product team, influencing the future of Puzzle by leveraging your in-depth understanding of market trends, competitor landscapes, and customer needs.
Dive into market research to gather insights that will inform compelling positioning, shape product strategy, and identify growth opportunities.
Craft a captivating narrative that transforms our products into engaging external content and designs. Your work will play a crucial role in showcasing our offerings across diverse marketing channels.
Partner with our Head of Growth to execute campaigns that drive new signups, foster partnerships, and boost product adoption.
Transform product lingo into user-friendly language, making complex technology and jargon relatable to a broader audience.
Empower our partners with the knowledge and resources they need to succeed. Develop impactful sales enablement initiatives that allow our partners to effectively promote and utilize our products.
Take the lead in introducing new product go-to-market strategies, overseeing every aspect from ideation to announcement and beyond.
Define and track KPIs and ROI to gauge the effectiveness of our messaging and content, offering valuable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Understand our competitive landscape and become the go-to expert on why users do and don’t embrace Puzzle, and identify areas for improvement. Use this knowledge to influence our product roadmap and strategy.

Qualifications

Experience and strong knowledge in accounting, finance and/or fintech.
6+ years in product marketing or a related role.
Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proven impact in developing and presenting a company’s narrative.
Ability to craft compelling narratives and messages that resonate with target audiences, and are presented in a format that’s easily digestible by the public.
Data-driven and experimental in how you approach and measure the outcomes of initiatives.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.
Experience leading launches from ideation to announcement and beyond.
