President | Construction & Field Operations

Location: Orange County, CA | Travel Throughout Southern California

Compensation: $250,000–$300,000 Base + Equity Participation

Employment Type: Full-Time | Onsite & Field-Based Leadership

Lead the Business. Build Its Future. Share in Its Success.

Are you a driven, hands-on leader ready to take the next major step in your executive career? We are partnering with an established, privately held organization in the construction and field services industry seeking a President to lead its next chapter of growth and operational excellence.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious, high-performing leader who has built a strong foundation in operations and is ready to take full ownership of a business.

We're not looking for someone who wants to manage from behind a desk. We need a confident, decisive operator who can command respect in the field, lead a substantial blue-collar workforce, and communicate with the same credibility and professionalism in an executive boardroom.

The opportunity? Step into the company's top operating leadership position, make a measurable impact, and participate in its long-term financial success through meaningful equity ownership.

The Opportunity

As President, you will oversee the day-to-day operations and long-term performance of an established, people-intensive business.

You'll lead a sizable organization spanning management, operational leadership, supervisors, and field crews.

Your home base will be in the Orange County area, with regular travel to active jobsites throughout Southern California, including Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Diego. Travel is primarily same-day, allowing you to remain actively engaged with teams, customers, and projects across the region.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Lead the Business: Take ownership of overall operations, organizational performance, and execution.
  • Manage a Large Workforce: Lead, motivate, and develop managers, supervisors, and skilled tradespeople across multiple active jobsites.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Establish accountability, improve processes, resolve challenges, and ensure projects are executed efficiently.
  • Be Present in the Field: Regularly visit jobsites, engage with crews, and maintain a pulse on daily operations.
  • Partner with Executive Leadership: Communicate confidently with ownership, investors, clients, and board-level stakeholders.
  • Build a Strong Leadership Team: Develop talent, strengthen management capabilities, and create a high-performance culture.
  • Own the Outcome: Make decisions independently, solve problems proactively, and lead with urgency, confidence, and accountability.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a high-potential executive with a proven track record of leading people, driving results, and operating in a fast-paced, field-based environment.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in construction, field operations, industrial services, or another labor-intensive industry.
  • Proven experience directly leading teams of at least 40–50 employees, with larger workforce leadership strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing blue-collar teams, supervisors, and operational leadership.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate effectively with ownership, investors, and board members.
  • A hands-on, decisive leadership style with a willingness to get into the field and understand the business at every level.
  • Experience managing complex operations, competing priorities, and demanding personalities.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to grow, improve, and take ownership of business outcomes.
  • Ability to work from the Orange County area and travel regularly throughout Southern California.

Highly Desirable:

  • Military leadership experience or a background demonstrating exceptional discipline, accountability, and team leadership.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in commercial construction, general contracting, restoration, or related field-service industries.
  • Experience working with investors or presenting to executive boards.

Compensation & Benefits

We believe exceptional leadership deserves exceptional rewards. This opportunity offers a competitive executive compensation package with meaningful long-term ownership potential.

  • Base Salary: $250,000–$300,000 annually
  • Equity Ownership: Meaningful equity participation with long-term wealth-building potential
  • Medical Insurance: PPO and HMO options, with the company covering 50% of employee premiums
  • Dental & Vision: Additional coverage options available
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan: Company matching contributions
  • Company Vehicle or Allowance: Vehicle benefit to support regional travel
  • Paid Time Off: Vacation benefits and company-paid holidays
  • Executive Leadership: Direct influence over company strategy, operational performance, and future growth

Medical and retirement plan eligibility begins after 90 days. Additional benefit details will be discussed during the interview process.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

This is more than another executive title. It's an opportunity to run an established business, lead a sizable workforce, and build meaningful long-term equity while making a visible impact on the organization's future.

We are seeking a leader who is hungry for the next challenge, thrives in an environment where decisions matter, and wants the opportunity to build something lasting.

The ideal candidate is ambitious, resourceful, approachable, and comfortable rolling up their sleeves. Someone who can transition effortlessly from walking an active jobsite to presenting business performance in an executive meeting.

If you're an accomplished operations leader looking for an opportunity to take your career to the next level, we want to hear from you!
