About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a rapidly growing, U.S.-based organization in the manufacturing and industrial services sector seeking an experienced, highly capable Senior HR Generalist to help strengthen and modernize its HR operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional who thrives on building processes, improving systems, and creating structure within a growing organization.

A significant focus of this position will be transforming existing employee training and development programs, including redesigning outdated training materials, establishing standardized onboarding procedures, developing SOPs, and creating scalable training resources for manufacturing and frontline employees.

The ideal candidate is not simply someone who can maintain existing HR functions. We are looking for a proactive, resourceful professional who can identify opportunities for improvement, take ownership of projects, and confidently collaborate with director-level leadership to implement meaningful change.

  • Develop clear, accessible training documentation, instructional resources, process guides, and employee reference materials.
  • Partner with operations leadership to ensure training programs reflect the practical needs of manufacturing, industrial, and frontline employees.
  • Establish consistent onboarding and training procedures across departments and U.S. locations.
  • Support employee development and succession planning initiatives, including defining skills, competencies, and pathways for career advancement.
  • Continuously evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to enhance employee engagement, retention, and operational performance.

HRIS Administration & Systems Support (20%)

  • Provide hands-on support and administration within UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group).
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR data, and system documentation across multiple U.S. states.
  • Troubleshoot HRIS-related issues, support users, and coordinate system improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR workflows, automate manual tasks, and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Partner with HR leadership to strengthen data integrity, system adoption, and operational efficiency.

Benefits & Leave Administration (20%)

  • Support the administration of U.S. employee benefits and leave programs across multiple states.
  • Assist with employee benefits inquiries, enrollment processes, documentation, and ongoing administration.
  • Coordinate employee leave requests, maintain accurate records, and support timely communication with employees and leadership.
  • Collaborate with the U.S.-based HR team to ensure consistent benefits and leave administration.
  • Maintain familiarity with U.S. employment practices and state-specific requirements, escalating compliance questions as appropriate.

Employee Relations & General HR Support (15%)

  • Serve as a knowledgeable and approachable resource for employee HR questions and concerns.
  • Provide guidance on company policies, HR procedures, and employee-related matters.
  • Partner with managers and HR leadership to support consistent policy interpretation and employee communications.
  • Assist with onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, and day-to-day HR operations.
  • Promote a positive employee experience through responsive communication, professionalism, and sound judgment.

Strategic HR Collaboration (5%)

  • Partner directly with director-level leadership to identify HR operational challenges and implement process improvements.
  • Proactively recommend enhancements to HR workflows, employee documentation, and organizational practices.
  • Help develop scalable HR processes to support continued company growth.
  • Take ownership of assigned initiatives from initial assessment through implementation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 5–7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, ideally in a Senior HR Generalist, HR Operations, or HR Training & Development capacity.

  • Proven success developing, implementing, and improving employee training programs, onboarding procedures, and SOP documentation.
  • Strong understanding of employee development, training effectiveness, and succession planning.
  • Practical experience supporting U.S. employee benefits, leave administration, and general HR operations.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to navigate HRIS platforms, troubleshoot system issues, and improve administrative processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to professionally engage with U.S.-based employees and senior leadership.
  • Availability to work the required 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Eastern Time schedule.

Why Consider This Opportunity?
