Branch Operations Manager

Dallas, TX | Onsite + local travel | ~$140K OTE (base + bonus')

Our client is seeking an experienced Branch Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations for a busy Dallas branch supporting construction projects, public events, and commercial customers. They provide rentals for temporary construction sites, such as fencing, portable toilets, storage containers, barricades, and temporary power.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands field operations, logistics, safety, drivers, customer service, and financial performance. You will have significant ownership over branch operations and will play a key role in ensuring projects are staffed, scheduled, executed safely, and completed successfully.

Schedule & Travel

• Approximately 65% office-based and 35% local day travel, primarily throughout Dallas and surrounding areas to visit construction sites, event locations, customer sites, and address operational needs.
• Generally Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility based on workload.

Compensation

• $85,000–$95,000 base salary plus bonus'
• Average OTE of approximately $140,000
• Additional incentives tied to sales, profitability, accounts receivable, safety, and DOT performance

What You'll Do

• Lead daily branch operations and oversee a large field-based team.
• Manage logistics, scheduling, routing, and project capacity.
• Ensure teams consistently deliver productive, high-quality results.
• Maintain a strong focus on employee and driver safety.
• Oversee DOT compliance and driving performance.
• Manage drivers, including CDL employees.
• Own branch P&L and help drive sales and profitability.
• Visit job sites when needed for larger projects, major events, or unexpected issues.
• Ensure successful execution of construction and event-related projects.
• Follow established operating processes while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Support employee development and hold team members accountable to expectations.
• Work within established pricing structures while partnering with leadership on pricing approvals when needed.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in regional management, branch management, operations management, or a similar leadership role for another similar construction rental company
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field preferred
• Experience managing employees who deliver products or services directly to customers.
• Strong operations and people-leadership experience.
• Experience working with drivers, fleet operations, or DOT requirements.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong understanding of safety, accountability, and operational processes.
• Comfortable managing a hands-on, fast-moving operation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
