🏗️ Quality Control Manager – Commercial Construction | Cheyenne, WY

Our client, an employee-owned federal commercial construction company, is hiring a Quality Control Manager for a commercial project in Cheyenne, WY — with ongoing project opportunities across the U.S. after this one wraps.

This is a field-first role for someone who wants to be part of the build, not just the paperwork.

💰 $100K–$130K base + 15% bonus at project completion

What you'll own:

🔹 Full project quality control — deliveries, materials, installations

🔹 Three-phase inspections (prep, initial, follow-up) on features of work

🔹 Submittal process management and spec compliance review

🔹 Materials testing coordination, incl. LEED where applicable

🔹 QC reporting, daily reports, and documentation

🔹 Project startup through closeout — permits, commissioning, punch lists, warranties

🔹 Leading and developing Assistant QCMs

What makes this role challenging (and rewarding):

You'll work closely with the owner's rep and inspectors — this is a client-facing role that calls for a solution-finder, not a complainer. Staying diplomatic and level-headed under pressure is key.

What you'll need:

✅ 2+ yrs construction experience with a relevant degree, OR 5+ yrs as a QC Manager

✅ Ideally 3–5 yrs QC experience on projects $30–40M+; completed projects in the $50–150M range a plus

✅ Full project lifecycle experience, including closeout/commissioning

✅ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and Bluebeam

✅ A genuine field presence — this isn't a "trailer job"
