Superintendent | Commercial Construction | Tenant Improvement

Location

• Onsite throughout the Bay Area
• Projects primarily located between Mountain View, South San Francisco, San Francisco, and Hayward
• Daily jobsite presence required; this is not a remote position

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $130,000 - $200,000
• Performance-based bonus potential up to approximately 15%

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Lead commercial construction projects from startup through client move-in
• Oversee all onsite construction activities, subcontractors, and project personnel
• Develop and maintain project schedules, sequencing plans, and recovery strategies
• Coordinate inspections, material deliveries, subcontractor schedules, and project logistics
• Partner with Project Managers to review budgets and project scopes
• Manage relationships with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and municipal agencies
• Conduct jobsite meetings and walkthroughs with clients and subcontractors
• Identify project risks proactively and implement solutions
• Maintain field documentation and contract records
• Drive safety initiatives, conduct weekly safety meetings, and ensure compliance standards are met
• Coordinate punch-list completion and project closeout activities

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent
• Tenant Improvement (TI) project experience
• Experience managing commercial construction projects within the Bay Area
• Strong scheduling, coordination, and client-facing skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and project priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

• General Contractor (GC) experience
• Life Science construction experience
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills
• Experience delivering projects with high client satisfaction rating
