Electrical Project Manager – Mission Critical / Industrial
Location: Phoenix, AZ – Onsite at Project Site
Compensation: $138,000–$186,000 base, with flexibility based on experience
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a growing electrical contractor supporting a major mission-critical/data center project in Phoenix. This is a long-term opportunity tied to a multi-phase development expected to provide several years of project work.
The initial phase represents approximately $50M in electrical construction across multiple buildings totaling 500,000+ SF.
What You'll Do
- Manage electrical projects from preconstruction/estimating through completion, including schedule, budget, billing, cash flow, procurement and subcontractors.
- Maintain an active onsite presence and monitor project progress, quality, safety and staffing.
- Coordinate with owners, general contractors, vendors, field leadership, engineers and estimators.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, submittals, invoices and project documentation.
- Support and mentor Project Managers and project team members.
- Participate in estimating, contract review and manpower planning.
- Build and maintain strong owner, contractor and supplier relationships.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of electrical construction Project Management experience.
- Strong background managing large commercial, industrial, data center, healthcare or mission-critical electrical projects.
- Experience managing projects in the $1M–$25M+ range; larger project experience is highly valued.
- Must come from an electrical contractor/electrical construction background, GC-only experience will not be considered.
- Ability to independently manage projects and hit the ground running.
- Degree preferred but not required.
- CMiC, FieldPoint and Primavera P6 experience is helpful but not required; training provided.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $138K–$186K, with an ideal target around $160K–$165K depending on experience and project history.
