Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Estimator to join a growing construction organization specializing in athletic facilities, sports fields, golf course development, and large-scale earthwork projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on projects ranging from $1M to $12M across the United States, supporting both preconstruction and bid development efforts.
Whether you're a recent graduate with a construction-related degree or an experienced estimator with a civil construction background, this position provides outstanding mentorship, career growth, and exposure to unique projects nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil construction, earthwork, and sports facility projects
- Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze project specifications
- Review plans, drawings, and bid documents
- Develop pricing and proposals for commercial construction opportunities
- Research project requirements and scope details
- Maintain and update estimating data within Sage and Procore
- Support preconstruction meetings and bid presentations
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and company leadership throughout the estimating process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field OR
- Minimum 3 years of construction estimating experience
- Experience reviewing bid packages, performing takeoffs, and developing project pricing
- Understanding of civil construction, earthwork, grading, excavation, or site development
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Travel:
- Approximately 25-30% travel for pre-bid meetings, site visits, and preconstruction activities
- Primarily day trips with limited overnight travel
