Turf/Sports Construction Foreman / Assistant Superintendent

Location: Travel Throughout the Midwest (primarily Missouri and surrounding states)

About the Opportunity

We're seeking a hands-on Turf/Sports Construction Foreman or Assistant Superintendent to help lead athletic field construction projects throughout the Midwest. Projects include football, baseball, soccer, and other sports facilities, with a strong focus on grading, earthwork, concrete, asphalt, and site development.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, leading crews, solving problems, and taking ownership of day-to-day construction operations. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Foreman or Assistant Superintendent who is ready to take the next step, gain additional responsibility, and grow into running their own projects.

What You'll Do

• Lead and work alongside field crews during daily construction operations
• Help manage crews of 4-8 employees
• Coordinate daily production, schedules, safety, and quality
• Oversee grading, site preparation, earthwork, concrete, asphalt, and field construction activities
• Work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to keep projects on schedule and on budget
• Help troubleshoot field issues and ensure work is completed correctly
• Utilize Procore and Excel for project tracking and documentation
• Travel throughout the Midwest to support multiple projects each year
• Take on increasing responsibility with the opportunity to advance into a Superintendent role

What We're Looking For

• 2-4+ years of Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, or construction leadership experience
• Strong understanding of construction operations and field management
• Experience in earthwork, grading, excavation, concrete, civil construction, site development, golf course construction, or similar work
• Ability to lead crews while remaining actively involved in field operations
• Comfortable traveling for project assignments
• Self-motivated, accountable, and team-oriented
• Someone looking to grow into a larger field leadership role

Compensation & Benefits

• $70,000 - $90,000 Base Salary (DOE) plus $10,000 - $15,000 bonus

Travel & Schedule

• Travel throughout the Midwest
• Typical projects last 8-12 weeks
• Breaks between assignments before moving to the next project
• Generally home every 30 days for up to 4 days
• Typical schedule is 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Consistent year-round employment
