Project Controls Specialist

📍 Abilene, TX | Onsite 💰 $60K-$105K+ DOE + Per Diem + Vehicle Allowance

Looking to grow your career in project management? Join a team supporting large-scale power and energy construction projects where you'll work directly with Project Managers and Superintendents to drive project reporting, scheduling, issue tracking, and overall project success.

What You'll Do:

• Track project progress, schedules, and key milestones
• Maintain project reporting, dashboards, and documentation
• Manage issue logs, action items, and reporting deliverables
• Identify risks, trends, and potential project impacts
• Partner with field teams, PMs, and stakeholders to ensure accurate project visibility
• Support project controls and performance tracking across active construction projects

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of Project Controls, Project Engineering, Project Coordination, APM, or related experience: Oil & Gas, Power & Energy, Heavy Civil, Industrial Construction, EPC, Manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Coachable, adaptable, and eager to learn
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues before they become problems
• Procore experience is a major plus
