Project Manager / Estimator

Seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join a growing team in Ely, Iowa. You'll oversee multiple commercial roofing projects from estimating and planning through completion, ensuring profitability, quality, safety, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Meet with commercial clients, property managers, and building owners
• Conduct roof inspections and site evaluations
• Take measurements and assess project requirements
• Prepare detailed estimates, proposals, and bid submissions
• Follow up on bids to help secure new business
• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment
• Collaborate closely with superintendents and field teams
• Monitor project budgets and profitability
• Manage change orders and project costs
• Ensure quality control and safety compliance
• Keep customers informed throughout the project lifecycle
• Resolve project issues quickly and professionally
• Maintain project documentation and reporting
• Conduct final walkthroughs and ensure customer satisfaction

Required Experience:

• 4+ years of commercial roofing project management experience
• Commercial roofing estimating experience
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong commercial roofing knowledge
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications
• Accurate measurement and takeoff skills
• Budget management experience
• Job cost analysis and forecasting
• Change order management experience

Compensation & Earning Potential:

• $70,000 - $110,000 annually (dependent on experience)

Work Environment:

• Site visits several times per week
• Typical office hours are approximately 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
