Lead a Critical Industrial Service Operation

An established industrial services organization is seeking a Shop Manager / Operations Manager to lead a high-performing motor and rotating equipment repair operation. This is a succession-planning opportunity where the selected leader will work closely with a highly experienced incumbent before assuming full ownership of the operation.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily operations of a large industrial repair facility
• Oversee shop personnel through an existing Shop Foreman
• Manage quoting, estimating, and job prioritization
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Coordinate workflow to meet customer deadlines and operational goals
• Support profitability and operational performance initiatives
• Provide technical guidance while maintaining a leadership-focused approach
• Work closely with senior leadership on strategic direction and growth

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership or management experience
• Background in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, repair operations, maintenance management, or related environments
• Strong people leadership and communication skills
• Experience coordinating multiple priorities in a fast-paced operation
• Customer-facing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Electric motor repair or rotating equipment experience
• Industrial service shop leadership experience
• Experience with estimating and quoting
• Exposure to EASA-certified environments or similar industrial repair operations
