Mechanical Piping Estimator

Louisville, KY (Relocation considered from Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and Nashville)

I'm working with a well-established employee-owned mechanical contractor that's looking to add a Mechanical Piping Estimator to their growing preconstruction team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience estimating commercial mechanical piping (wet-side HVAC/plumbing systems) who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants long-term growth.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare estimates for commercial mechanical piping projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs
• Review drawings and project specifications
• Work on multiple bids at once (typically 2–3 active projects)
• Attend occasional pre-bid site walks
• Collaborate with project managers and the preconstruction team throughout the estimating process

What They're Looking For

• 2+ years of mechanical estimating experience
• Commercial mechanical piping/wet-side HVAC experience
• Strong takeoff and plan reading skills
• Experience reviewing drawings and specifications
• Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)

Salary: $100,000–$115,000 DOE + Profit Sharing
