Accounting Manager (Hybrid)

Location: Provo, UT (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

We're partnering with a well-established investment and real estate organization that is looking to bring on an Accounting Manager to its growing finance team. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, mentoring staff, and working closely with executive leadership. This isn't a role for someone looking to manage from a distance. You'll be leading by example, working alongside your team, and collaborating with leadership in person several days each week.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of two Staff Accountants, providing day-to-day guidance and development
• Review financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting deliverables for accuracy and timeliness
• Oversee partnership and ownership accounting activities across a multi-entity organization
• Coordinate annual audits and serve as a primary contact for external auditors
• Partner with finance, operations, and executive leadership on strategic accounting initiatives
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Drive process improvements while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and accountability

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Previous experience managing or directly supervising accounting staff
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Professional, polished, and collaborative presence
• Local to the Provo area and comfortable working in the office at least 3 days per week, with flexibility to be onsite more frequently as business needs require
