  • Prepare quantity takeoffs and develop accurate budgets and cost estimates.
  • Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor and vendor proposals.
  • Perform value engineering and provide cost-saving recommendations.
  • Present estimates and pricing strategies to internal leadership and project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, project management, and preconstruction teams.
  • Mentor junior estimators and help improve estimating processes.

What We're Looking For

  • General Contractor estimating experience across multiple commercial building trades.
  • Experience estimating public works, municipal, state, or government-funded projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of CSI MasterFormat and commercial construction methods.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam, Sage Estimating, Microsoft Office, and similar estimating software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Design-Build and/or CMAR experience is a plus.

Why This Opportunity?

  • Competitive salary: $120,000-$140,000 DOE.
  • Annual performance bonus.
  • Excellent health, dental, and vision benefits.
  • 401(k) with company contributions.
  • Mileage reimbursement or company vehicle for project visits.
  • Local projects with little to no overnight travel.
  • Collaborative leadership team with a strong focus on integrity, accountability, and long-term employee success.
  • Opportunity to work on commercial projects ranging from approximately $15M-$100M+.

If you're looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing commercial contractor where you'll have visibility, ownership, and the chance to make an impact, we'd love to connect.
