Project Manager

Jacksonville, NC | Onsite (occasional travel)

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for an opportunity to lead impactful commercial construction projects from start to finish? We're partnering with a growing commercial pool construction company seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple projects while working alongside an experienced leadership team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a commercial construction background who enjoys managing projects, collaborating with field teams, and driving successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial construction projects from kickoff through closeout.
  • Oversee 3–8 projects simultaneously ranging from approximately $250K–$4M.
  • Coordinate material procurement and subcontractor buyouts.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and manpower.
  • Review RFIs and maintain project documentation.
  • Lead communication between field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams.
  • Supervise and mentor an Assistant Project Manager.
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality expectations.

Qualifications

  • Previous Project Management experience in commercial/industrial/mechanical construction (open to a strong APM)
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience overseeing projects valued up to approximately $4M.
  • Strong subcontractor management experience.
  • Commercial construction backgrounds in mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or fire protection are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary up to $115,000 depending on experience.
  • Up to $135,000 for candidates with commercial pool construction experience.
  • 5-10% Performance bonus opportunity.
