Chief Operating Officer (COO) | High-End Home Automation & AV Integration

📍 Roseland, NJ (Onsite) | 💰 $125,000–$150,000 Base + Quarterly Profit-Based Bonus

This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on operational leader who can drive project execution, lead field teams, and help scale a successful business. This is not a corporate COO role - it's a player-coach position for someone who thrives in both the field and the business.

What You'll Do:

• Lead daily operations across installation teams and field projects
• Ensure technicians are fully scheduled and productive on billable work
• Oversee project timelines, quality, staffing, and execution
• Hire, mentor, and manage installation and technical personnel
• Troubleshoot complex AV, networking, and smart home systems when needed
• Drive operational efficiency, profitability, and team performance
• Partner directly with ownership to support company growth and scalability

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of industry experience in residential AV, home automation, or low-voltage systems
• 4+ years of leadership or management experience
• Hands-on expertise with Control4, Cisco, Lutron, IP networking, and system troubleshooting
• Experience managing small, high-accountability field teams
• Strong operational oversight, workforce planning, scheduling, and project execution skills
• Builder mentality with the ability to lead from the front and jump into the field when needed
