Senior Property Marketing Manager (Commercial Retail)

$100,000–$120,000 Base Salary + Bonus

We're looking for a Senior Property Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategy and execution for a portfolio of high-profile retail shopping centers throughout Southern California.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys the balance of strategic marketing, community engagement, analytics, and relationship building. You'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on property performance by driving foot traffic, increasing tenant engagement, and creating memorable experiences that keep customers coming back.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute annual marketing plans for a portfolio of commercial retail shopping centers
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee community events including holiday celebrations, concerts, movie nights, seasonal activations, and promotional campaigns
- Manage each property's social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Oversee individual property websites and ensure content remains fresh, engaging, and accurate
- Build strong relationships with retail tenants and collaborate on promotions and marketing opportunities
- Analyze marketing performance using traffic analytics and campaign data to measure ROI and recommend future strategies
- Manage property marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively
- Partner closely with leasing, operations, and asset management teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives
- Coordinate vendors, agencies, entertainment, and event partners as needed
- Stay actively connected to each property through regular onsite visits and tenant engagement.
What We're Looking
- For5+ years of marketing experience within commercial retail real estate, shopping centers, or mixed-use properties.
- Experience owning marketing strategy from planning through execution.
- Strong event marketing and community engagement experience.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and demonstrating ROI.
- Comfortable managing social media and website content
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable marketing strategies
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Self-starter who enjoys working independently and taking ownership
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for special events.
Preferred Experience:
- Commercial retail, shopping center, REIT, or retail property management experience.
- Experience using traffic analytics or retail marketing platforms such as Placer or similar tools.
- Experience managing outside vendors and agencies.
- Familiarity with direct mail or local community marketing initiatives.
