Day-to-Day Responsibi
- lities
Manage heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and meet quality s - tandards.Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and project stakeholders throughout all phases of cons
- truction.Conduct regular job site visits and work closely with superintendents to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain project
- momentum.Attend owner, subcontractor, and project coordination meetings while serving as a primary point of contact for clients and project
- partners.Oversee grading, paving, underground utility installations, drainage structures, retaining walls, and structural concrete work across multiple active
- projects.Coordinate field operations for bridge crews and other self-performed construction ac
- tivities.Partner with estimating teams to prepare and price change orders while supporting project cost management throughout the project l
- ifecycle.Track project costs, budgets, production quantities, and monthly billings to ensure accurate financial r
- eporting.Assist with contract administration, purchase orders, scheduling, and project docum
- entation.Support project planning and execution across overlapping phases, including active construction, project closeout, and upcom
- ing work.Utilize project management and scheduling software to maintain schedules, monitor productivity, and support operational ef
- ficiency.Split time between the office and project sites, working closely with both field and office teams to successfully deliver complex public works
projects.

Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience within heavy civil - construction.Previous estimating experience, ideally 3–5 years supporting heavy civil or public w
- orks projects.Demonstrated experience managing Caltrans and other public works infrastruc
- ture projects.Strong background in asphalt paving, grading, underground utilities, roadway construction, and heavy civil sit
- e development.Experience coordinating subcontractors, managing budgets, preparing change orders, and overseeing proje
- ct financials.Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling softwar
- e is required.Experience using HCSS Heavy Job and HeavyBid is hig
- hly preferred.Strong understanding of construction contracts, project scheduling, cost tracking, and proj
- ect execution.Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities s
- imultaneously.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred but not required. Equivalent field experience will be strong
