Project Manager – Electrical Commercial Construction

Area: San Fernando Valley, CA (100% On-site with occasional local site visits)

Compensation: up to $170K Base DOE + Performance Bonuses + Car Allowance

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for the opportunity to truly own your projects from start to finish?

We are seeking a Project Manager to join a growing electrical contractor with a strong backlog of commercial, aerospace, medical, tenant improvement, and ground-up construction projects throughout Southern California. This role offers significant ownership, direct impact on project success, and the opportunity to earn substantial bonuses tied to project performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Maintain full ownership of project budgets, forecasting, and financial performance
• Track project costs and provide monthly reporting and projections
• Manage client relationships and ensure successful project delivery
• Support billing activities and change order management
• Coordinate with field teams, foremen, vendors, and clients
• Identify strategic installation methods that improve project efficiency and profitability

Qualifications

• Commercial or industrial electrical construction project management experience
• Experience managing projects ranging from approximately $500K to $10M+
• Proven project P&L ownership experience
• Strong forecasting, budgeting, and cost control skills
• Experience with tenant improvements, medical facilities, occupied remodels, or ground-up commercial projects
• Proficiency with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid, or similar platforms
