Day to Day Responsibilities:

As the Manufacturing Engineer, you'll spend the majority of your time on the production floor partnering with operations and maintenance to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.

  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes
  • Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause solutions
  • Improve workflow, productivity, and plant efficiency
  • Support equipment setup and manufacturing operations
  • Partner closely with production and maintenance teams
  • Perform in-process inspections to ensure product quality
  • Maintain manufacturing documentation and process standards
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal departments to support manufacturing goals

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related discipline)
  • 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Experience supporting production in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Process improvement and continuous improvement experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Comfortable working extensively on the manufacturing floor

Preferred Experience:

  • Metal fabrication
  • Welding or welded assemblies
  • CAD software
  • Fixture and tooling design
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma
  • Automated or robotic welding
  • High-volume manufacturing environments

The Ideal Candidate:

We're looking for someone who enjoys being where the action is. This is not a design-focused engineering role, it's for an engineer who likes solving problems in real time, working alongside production teams, and continuously improving manufacturing operations.

Schedule:

Engineering primarily works first shift, typically starting between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM (including a one-hour lunch). This is a fully onsite position.
