About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a growing manufacturer of industrial packaging machinery seeking an Automation Engineer to support controls design, PLC programming, machine commissioning, and automation projects across both new and existing equipment

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working directly with machinery, solving complex technical challenges, and seeing projects through from design to startup.

Some hands-on Siemens experience is required; however, candidates do not need to be Siemens experts. Engineers with strong controls or automation backgrounds in Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, Beckhoff, Omron, or similar PLC platforms who have worked with Siemens systems are encouraged to apply.

Required

• 4+ years of automation engineering, controls engineering, or programming PLCs and HMIs in an industrial or manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Strong troubleshooting skills with automated machinery and industrial sy
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Controls Engineering, or equivalent exp

Preferred

• Siemens TIA Portal or Siemens S7-1200 or S7-1500 exp
• Allen-Bradley / Rockwell
• Packaging machinery, OEM equipment, or manufacturing automation
