HR Administrator

📍 Westwood, MA (Onsite)

💰 $75,000–$85,000 Base Salary DOE + Discretionary Bonus

A well-established and growing construction company is seeking an HR Administrator to support HR, benefits, onboarding, and payroll functions while serving as a trusted resource for employees across the organization.

This is a highly visible role for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping people, and can effectively manage changing priorities throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, and new hire administration
  • Maintain employee records, files, and HR documentation
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions regarding benefits and HR-related matters
  • Administer benefits enrollments, changes, terminations, COBRA, open enrollment, and annual renewals
  • Support weekly payroll processing through timecard review, payroll data entry, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting
  • Assist with certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements as needed
  • Ensure accurate and compliant HR and payroll records
  • Utilize Vista/Viewpoint, Microsoft Office, and other ERP systems to support daily operations

What We're Looking For

  • 2–3+ years of HR administration experience
  • 1–3 years of payroll support experience, including weekly payroll cycles
  • Experience with timecard review, payroll data entry, adjustments, and basic payroll troubleshooting
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Vista/Viewpoint, Oracle, Sage, or similar platforms
  • General understanding of prevailing wage requirements; direct certified payroll reporting experience is not required
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional employee support
