We are partnering with a rapidly growing industrial construction organization seeking a senior-level operations leader to help oversee large-scale infrastructure and industrial projects while playing a key role in the company's next phase of growth.
About the Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Project Manager, Operations Manager, or Construction Executive who enjoys being deeply involved in project execution while also helping shape the future direction of a growing organization. The company has recently secured significant new project work and is investing heavily in long-term growth, creating a clear path toward executive-level leadership for the right individual.
What You'll Do
- Lead and oversee the successful execution of multiple industrial and infrastructure construction projects from kickoff through completion.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and operational support to Project Managers across the organization.
- Review project budgets, schedules, contracts, bids, estimates, and procurement strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Partner with executive leadership to improve project execution, operational consistency, and overall business performance.
- Support forecasting, planning, risk management, and resource allocation efforts.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to client expectations.
- Serve as a trusted operational leader and key contributor to the company's continued expansion.
- Help drive accountability, communication, and best practices throughout project teams.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of construction industry experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
- Strong background managing complex industrial, heavy civil, infrastructure, water/wastewater, energy, or large-scale construction projects.
- Experience leading project teams and overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
- Deep understanding of project controls, scheduling, estimating, procurement, subcontractor management, and project execution.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance operational excellence and strategic thinking.
- Proven track record of stability, career progression, and successful project delivery.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- A hands-on, detail-oriented leader who leads by example and enjoys solving complex challenges.
Preferred Experience
- General Contractor or heavy industrial contractor background.
- Experience with large infrastructure, utility, water, wastewater, or government-funded projects.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6, project controls, estimating, and construction operations management.
- Experience managing and developing Project Managers or project teams.
Compensation: $180,000 - $220,000 base salary plus bonus potential
Location: Colorado (Relocation assistance available for exceptional candidates)
Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite with flexibility depending on candidate location and experience.
