The company is growing due to increased demand from repeat clients and needs a seasoned Project Manager who can step in and lead projects from bid through closeout.

About the Role

You’ll manage commercial electrical projects cradle-to-grave, from fast-turn tenant improvements to $10M+ commercial electrical builds across data centers, life sciences, and mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Lead bidding, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project execution
  • Run multiple projects simultaneously (typically 1–3 active jobs)
  • Support takeoffs, scope reviews, and estimating efforts as needed
  • Drive project financial performance, forecasting, and job cost tracking
  • Partner with Project Engineers for fixture counts, submittals, and administrative support
  • Travel periodically to project sites throughout the South Bay, Peninsula, and surrounding areas

Compensation & Perks

  • $150,000–$175,000 base salary DOE (willing to match or beat current salary for the right candidate)

Schedule

  • Onsite role
  • Most team members work approximately 6:00 AM–3:30 PM depending on project needs – no micromanagement on schedule

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial electrical construction
  • Experience managing projects cradle-to-grave
  • Ability to oversee or support takeoffs
  • Experience managing multiple commercial electrical projects simultaneously
  • Ability to handle approximately $6M–$8M in annual project volume
  • Comfortable operating in a smaller-company, high-accountability environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working directly with GCs, owners, and field teams
  • Knowledge of commercial electrical systems and construction workflows

Preferred Skills

  • Commercial electrical contractor experience
  • Experience with data center, life sciences, or mission-critical projects

Pay range and compensation package

This is an onsite position and is not eligible for remote work. The company may consider relocation assistance for highly qualified candidates. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
