A highly respected and growing commercial real estate group specializing in retail shopping centers is seeking a Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of retail assets throughout the North County San Diego area. This is an incredible opportunity for someone coming from an Assistant Property Manager background who’s ready to step into a more autonomous, high-impact role with mentorship, exposure, and long-term growth.

This is NOT a desk-only position — this person will be heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of their centers and must enjoy being in the field, building relationships, solving problems, and keeping properties running at a high level.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing day-to-day operations across a portfolio of retail shopping centers
  • Building strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and internal teams
  • Coordinating vendors, maintenance requests, repairs, and capital projects
  • Conducting regular property visits and ensuring assets are operating efficiently
  • Reviewing invoices, budgets, and operational expenditures
  • Partnering cross-functionally with accounting, leasing, and operations teams
  • Helping drive property performance and tenant experience

What They’re Looking For:

  • Commercial retail property management experience
  • Someone local to North County San Diego due to heavy property travel
  • Reliable transportation is required (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Highly organized and proactive personality
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Tech-forward mindset and strong Excel/Outlook skills
  • California Real Estate License (or ability to obtain one) preferred
