Project Manager – Commercial Concrete Construction
A growing commercial concrete contractor is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to the team. This is a hands-on role managing multiple concrete construction projects from startup through closeout, working closely with field operations, ownership, general contractors, subcontractors, and clients throughout the full project lifecycle.
This opportunity is ideal for someone coming directly from a commercial concrete subcontractor environment who understands the production side of concrete construction and can confidently manage schedules, budgets, coordination, and execution in fast-paced environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage multiple commercial concrete projects simultaneously
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, forecasting, subcontractors, procurement, and documentation
- Coordinate directly with Owners, General Contractors, Superintendents, field crews, and subcontractors
- Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project reporting
- Manage concrete scopes including: rebar, formwork, post-tensioning, cranes, foundations/slabs
- Attend project meetings and act as the primary point of contact throughout project execution
- Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with safety and quality standards
- Coordinate with inspectors, testing agencies, and other trades on-site
- Support field operations and maintain strong communication with Superintendents and leadership teams
What They’re Looking For
- 5–10+ years of commercial concrete construction experience
- 3–5+ years of Project Management experience
- Strong understanding of cast-in-place concrete operations and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
- Experience managing schedules, change orders, budgets, and subcontractors
- Comfortable working in both office and field environments
- Experience with construction software (Sage, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Excel, etc.)
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary targeting roughly $110K–$140K depending on experience
