Location: Conover, NC (Candidates must live within 1 hour or be open to relocation)
Schedule: Hybrid
Compensation: $90,000â$120,000 Base Salary (DOE) + 20% Bonus
A rapidly growing manufacturer is seeking a Business Development Representative to support continued expansion across the automotive, filtration, and industrial sectors. This is a strategic, growth-focused role offering strong visibility to executive leadership and the opportunity to make a direct impact on company growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing new business, managing customer relationships, and identifying opportunities within industrial or manufacturing-related markets. This position is best suited for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment and enjoys building long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to generate new accounts and grow existing relationships
- Identify opportunities within automotive, industrial, and related manufacturing markets
- Build relationships with OEMs, distributors, suppliers, and key decision-makers
- Manage and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and customer engagement
- Partner closely with leadership and internal teams to support company growth objectives
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities
- Represent the company professionally at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years Business development, sales, or account management experience within manufacturing, industrial, automotive, filtration, or related industries preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to generate new business opportunities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
