Outside Sales Representative – Architectural Products & Solutions

📍 Chicago Metro Area, IL (Remote / Field-Based)- MUST live in Chicago metro area!

💰 Base Salary: $100,000–$120,000 DOE + up to $24,000 annual bonus (paid quarterly for hitting quota)

Are you connected within Chicago’s architecture and design community and energized by relationship-driven sales? We’re partnering with a growing architectural manufacturing and distribution company that delivers custom, made-to-order solutions rather than catalog products. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a new territory for the company with significant runway for growth. You'll have the chance to establish a market presence, build long-term relationships, and create substantial earning potential as the territory expands.

What You'll Do

• Manage, develop, and grow an assigned Chicago-area territory

• Schedule and complete a minimum of 15 meetings per week with architects and designers (in-person and virtual)

• Build and execute strategic "blitz" outreach campaigns to introduce products and place sample boxes into targeted firms

• Develop new business opportunities while strengthening existing relationships

• Conduct presentations and consultative meetings focused on custom solutions and capabilities

• Follow up on warm inbound leads generated from website activity, sample requests, and marketing channels

• Maintain and manage your pipeline, customer activity, and account information through Zoho CRM

• Utilize Material Bank and AI-powered tools to streamline outreach, activity tracking, and reporting

• Build strategic territory plans designed for long-term growth and market expansion

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of architectural sales experience required

• Existing relationships and familiarity within the Chicago architecture/design community

• Experience selling materials, custom solutions, or made-to-order products

• Strong consultative selling and storytelling skills

• Excellent presentation and communication abilities

• Proven ability to build relationships and consistently generate meetings

• Comfortable managing a field-based territory independently

• CRM experience required (Zoho preferred)
