I am seeking a relationship-driven Commercial Lines Retail Account Manager to join their growing team in NYC. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, managing accounts, and building long-term relationships in a collaborative, family-oriented environment.

The firm has been serving the Chinese-American small business community for nearly 50 years and operates across both retail and wholesale property & casualty insurance. This role is heavily focused on client service, renewals, account management, and relationship retention — not cold calling or aggressive sales.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage and service a book of commercial insurance accounts for small business clients
  • Handle renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and client questions
  • Prepare quotes and present coverage options to clients
  • Build long-term relationships with business owners and maintain a high level of client satisfaction
  • Work closely with carriers, internal underwriting teams, and leadership
  • Occasionally meet with local clients in person

What They’re Looking For

  • 2–5+ years of insurance experience (commercial or personal lines)
  • Backgrounds such as Account Manager, CSR, Commercial Lines Assistant, Insurance Agent, or Account Coordinator are all welcome
  • Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills
  • Experience handling renewals, endorsements, and quoting
  • P&C License preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Mandarin language skills are strongly preferred
