Estimator – High-end Luxury Residential Construction

Onsite - Upper West Side of Manhattan (1 day work from home after onboarding)

$130K–$160K base + Bonus

A high-end residential general contractor is looking to add an Estimator to their growing preconstruction team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-heavy environment and wants exposure to some of the most high-profile luxury residential projects in NYC, the Hamptons, Florida, and Los Angeles.

The team is looking for someone who can confidently handle pressure, communicate directly, stay organized, and grow long term within the company.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Performing detailed takeoffs and reviewing plans/specifications
• Supporting and eventually leading full project estimates
• Reviewing subcontractor/vendor pricing and identifying scope gaps or cost exposures
• Assisting with bid processes, walkthroughs, and preconstruction efforts
• Building and improving estimating templates, processes, and efficiencies
• Comparing estimated vs. actual costs to improve future estimating accuracy
• Participating in architect, client, and subcontractor meetings
• Managing relationships with subcontractors and vendors
• Working on luxury residential projects ranging from approximately $2M–$15M+

What They’re Looking For

• 5–10+ years of estimating experience preferred
• MUST have residential construction estimating experience
• Luxury/high-end residential experience strongly preferred
• Strong takeoff and budgeting experience
• Ability to read/interprete plans and specifications at a high level
• Comfortable in a direct communication, high-expectation culture
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
