A growing general contractor is looking for an Estimator who can take the lead on bidding and preconstruction for a wide range of projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial, state, and federal projects
• Review plans, specs, and bid documents to define scope and pricing
• Develop material, labor, and equipment estimates
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor/vendor bids
• Lead scope development and bid leveling to ensure full coverage
• Collaborate with PMs and leadership on preconstruction strategy
• Track multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-moving environment
• Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
• Assist with project handoff to operations after award

What They’re Looking For

• 5+ years of estimating experience (commercial and/or government projects)
• Strong understanding of all construction divisions
• Ability to build scopes, interpret drawings, and develop full estimates
• Experience with design-build projects
• Comfortable working independently in a small team environment

Bonus Points:

• Engineering background
• Experience with Sage Timberline, Primavera, or Bluebeam
