Production Manager (Manufacturing – Multi-Site Operations)

$70,000 - $90,000 + Bonus
Seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations across a dynamic, fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for driving performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost, while developing high-performing teams and ensuring operational excellence across multiple facilities.
This is a highly visible leadership position with ownership of production performance, workforce development, and continuous improvement initiatives in a 24/7 manufacturing setting.
What You’ll Do
- Own and drive all production KPIs, analyzing performance by line, shift, and individual to identify opportunities across people, processes, and equipment
- Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations across multiple production lines in a 24/7 environment
- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met and aligned with customer specifications
- Develop, coach, and mentor production teams, including Process Leads and supervisors, building a strong leadership pipeline
- Partner cross-functionally with maintenance, quality, logistics, procurement, and planning teams to support operational success
- Oversee production planning and scheduling, ensuring accurate and timely execution of work orders
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain strong floor presence to monitor operations, troubleshoot issues, and lead by example
- Ensure proper staffing, training, and cross-training to support production demands and operational flexibility
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role (Production Manager or similar)
- Strong experience in KPI-driven environments and performance management
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced production setting
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools
- Solid understanding of continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and quality systems
- Ability to thrive in a hands-on, floor-driven leadership role
- Strong cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in highly regulated manufacturing environments (e.g., ISO-certified)
- Familiarity with PPAP, IMDS, or similar quality standards
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
