We’re looking for a Director of Business Development to own commercial growth across business development, sales, and marketing, while leading a team of Sales Engineers and expanding into new markets.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who knows how to drive growth in technical manufacturing—not just talk strategy, but actually build pipeline, close complex deals, and lead a team doing it.

What You’ll Own

  • Build and execute business development strategy across key industries
  • Develop a strong, sustainable sales pipeline (short + long-term growth)
  • Lead complex, multi-stage sales cycles (RFQ → quoting → prototyping → production)
  • Oversee key accounts, ensuring profitability and long-term value
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and finance to drive margin improvement
  • Guide marketing strategy (branding, campaigns, trade shows, demand gen)
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Sales Engineers
  • Identify and break into new markets (aerospace, medical, industrial, etc.)

What You Bring

  • 7–10+ years in business development / technical sales leadership
  • Experience in metal fabrication or engineered-to-order manufacturing
  • Proven success managing long, technical sales cycles
  • Leadership experience with technical sales or sales engineering teams
  • Strong commercial mindset—pricing, margins, forecasting
  • Ability to operate cross-functionally with engineering + operations
