Overview:

Mid-sized precision manufacturing company is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a team of 8 while staying hands-on in mechanical design. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to ownership.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers/designers (mechanical, project, CAD)
• Design and oversee custom machinery (broaching, gear cutting, tooling)
• Partner closely with the shop floor—troubleshoot, improve processes, and drive efficiency
• Review technical drawings (GD&T) and support customer-facing engineering discussions
• Collaborate across production, sales, and project teams

What They’re Looking For:

• 5–12+ years in mechanical engineering within manufacturing
• Strong SolidWorks + CAD design experience
• Hands-on knowledge of machining/CNC/tooling environments
• Proven leadership + team management experience
• Ability to balance strategy + execution
