💼 Full-Time | Field-Based Role

💰 $70,000 – $80,000 + Discretionary Bonuses

About the Role

A privately owned, growing construction company based in Delray Beach is seeking a Safety Specialist to support and strengthen safety operations across active job sites. This is a hands-on, field-focused role requiring daily travel to projects within approximately a 100-mile radius.

This position is ideal for someone who wants to drive real change—moving safety culture from reactive to proactive while building trust with field teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Travel to active construction job sites (primarily north of Delray Beach)
• Conduct routine safety inspections and audits
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance standards
• Partner with field teams to promote best practices and safe behaviors
• Support workers’ compensation and claims management in coordination with a captive insurer
• Identify risks and implement proactive safety improvements
• Help build and reinforce a strong, company-wide safety culture
• Collaborate with a team of field and office personnel across multiple projects

What We’re Looking For (Must-Haves)

• 3+ years of safety positions
• Construction industry experience (required)
• Willingness and ability to travel daily to job sites within a ~100-mile radius
• Strong communication skills with both field and office teams
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset—someone who genuinely cares about improving safety

Nice to Have

• Experience working with a captive insurer or in-house claims process
• Background in heavy civil or paving projects
• OSHA 30 (or equivalent certification)
