Industrial Electrical Estimator - Electrical & Mechanical – Remote

📍 Remote (U.S.) | ~15% Travel

We are partnering with a national automation and industrial construction company to hire an experienced Electrical Estimator to independently handle full scope electrical & mechanical estimating, costing, and proposal development for large-scale material handling and conveyor system projects.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical, pre-sales environment, working across engineering and sales to develop accurate, competitive solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Develop full-scope estimates for complex automation and material handling systems (electrical + mechanical)
• Build detailed, ground-up estimates in Excel and support full proposal development
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and system layouts to define scope across:
• Power distribution (switchgear, panels, controls)
• Equipment integration and system design
• Partner with engineering and sales teams to deliver accurate, competitive bids
• Apply field experience to validate labor, installation sequencing, and constructability

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as an Electrical Estimator
• Background in automation, material handling, or industrial systems
• Strong experience with both mechanical and electrical estimating down to putting numbers for labors and materials needed
• Ability to independently build and own estimates end-to-end
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, and integration

Project Scope

• Projects ranging from $400K to $40M+
• Focus on automation, conveyor systems, and integrated solutions
