Accountant/HR Coordinator

We are partnering with a well-established, boutique marketing and advertising agency to identify a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant/HR Coordinator. This is a unique opportunity to join a close-knit, collaborative team where your work directly impacts day-to-day business operations. Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Operations (Core Focus) -

  • Own full-cycle accounts payable and expense tracking
  • Perform credit card reconciliations across leadership and sales teams
  • Work directly with P&L statements and balance sheets
  • Maintain and update weekly cash flow reporting
  • Ensure accuracy across marketing spend, media buys, and reconciliations
  • Support weekly payroll processing, including commission structures (30+ employees)

HR & Administrative Support -

  • Manage new hire onboarding and documentation
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance standards
  • Support HR processes including documentation and benefits research
  • Help maintain a structured, organized, and people-first workplace

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop (required)
  • Proficiency in Excel (reporting, formulas; pivot tables a plus)
  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related field
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of responsibilities
  • Exposure to HR functions and payroll
