Blow Mold Setup Mechanic - Miami, FL

A growing plastics manufacturing operation is seeking a skilled Blow Mold Setup Mechanic to join their production team. This is a fully hands-on role focused on machine setups, mold changes, troubleshooting, and keeping equipment running efficiently on the floor.

This is a great opportunity for someone who knows blow molding inside and out and wants to be relied on as the go-to person for keeping production moving.

What You’ll Do:

• Set up and adjust extrusion blow molding machines (Uniloy / Bekum)
• Perform mold changes, startups, and die head adjustments
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic PLC-related issues
• Adjust parison programming, temperatures, and cycle times
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Support overall production efficiency and quality

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of blow molding experience
• Experience with Uniloy or Bekum machines
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Hands-on experience with mold setup and changeovers
• Ability to work independently on the shop floor

Compensation & Schedule:

• $30–$45/hour based on experience
• Production-based bonus potential
• 1st shift preferred, open to 2nd shift
