📍 Torrington, CT (Mostly Remote – In-Office 3–4x/Month)

💰 Base + Draw + Commission | $60K–$150K+ Total Comp per year (DOE + Performance)

An established insurance agency is looking for a driven Commercial Lines Producer to join their growing team. This is a primarily remote role with occasional in-office collaboration, offering the flexibility to build your book while still staying connected to a supportive team.

This is a true hunter role—ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, generating new business, and taking ownership of their success.

💼 What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow a commercial lines book of business
• Prospect through cold calling, networking, referrals, and agency-generated leads
• Build and manage client relationships from initial outreach through bind and renewal
• Complete applications accurately and thoroughly
• Partner with account managers and underwriters to craft customized proposals
• Stay relationship-focused post-bind while account managers handle servicing
• Document all interactions and manage pipeline activity using CRM tools
• Utilize Nexsure (Dyad) for policy and account management (training provided)
• Attend team meetings in-office 3–4 times per month

✅ What You Bring

• 5+ years of commercial insurance sales experience
• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license
• Proven success with cold calling and lead generation
• True “hunter” mentality with a track record of building new business
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
