Our employee-owned construction client in New York City is seeking an experienced Internal Senior Auditor to lead accounting operations and support executive leadership in a dynamic, project-driven environment. 🔎 Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate financial statement preparation and external audit process
• Provide analytics around job schedules, project performance, and financial trends
• Partner directly with the CFO on reporting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
• Step in wherever needed to support accounting and finance operations
• Oversee and support Project Accountants
• Monitor and manage company cash flow and banking relationships
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
• Lead month-end close process (targeting close by the 10th business day)
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial reporting to corporate leadership

✅ Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of auditing, accounting and finance
• Construction industry experience (any exposure strongly considered)
• MUST have Public accounting audit experience
• Senior-level exposure to financial analytics
• Must have longevity in current and prior positions
• Strong ERP experience
