Senior Project Manager (Commercial Construction – Restaurant / Retail Focus)

California | Remote w/ Travel

Seeking a Senior Project Manager/Owner's Rep to lead the full lifecycle of commercial construction projects for a growing, fast-paced consulting firm specializing in restaurant, retail, and hospitality environments.

This is a highly visible, client-facing role where you will act as the primary point of contact for multiple clients, managing projects from site due diligence through construction closeout across multiple locations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own and manage the full project lifecycle across multiple active projects and clients
• Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring clear communication and strong long-term relationships
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and overall project performance across multiple locations
• Coordinate with internal teams, architects, consultants, and field construction managers
• Manage RFIs, change orders, cost tracking, and project documentation
• Ensure consistency across repeat builds (restaurant/retail rollouts)
• Drive internal process improvements and support implementation of project management tools (Procore)
• Travel as needed (typically 1–2 trips/month, occasional overnight) for site visits and key milestones

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
• Strong experience with restaurant, retail, or hospitality projects (multi-site/rollout experience highly preferred)
• Background working for a General Contractor or Owner’s Representative/Consultant
• Proven ability to manage projects from due diligence through closeout
• Experience with Procore and construction scheduling tools (Smartsheet or similar)
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)

• PMP certification
• Estimating experience or ability to interpret budgets and cost codes
