Show Manager (Traveling Role – Nationwide Touring)

$80K–$90base + daily stipend

100% travel (nationwide) – expenses fully covered

Thursday–Sunday shows + Monday travel | Tuesday/Wednesday off

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Show Manager to lead and execute live, large-scale touring events across the country. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-energy environments and enjoys managing both people and operations on the ground.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the full show lifecycle, from setup to execution to breakdown, while leading a team of 20+ staff and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full show operations from load-in through show execution and load-out
  • Manage and schedule a team of 19–23 staff, ensuring proper coverage across all areas
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for team members, addressing issues and escalating when needed
  • Enforce performance standards, policies, and accountability across the team
  • Coach and manage employees in real time, handling call-outs, conflicts, and performance concerns
  • Partner with Operations leadership on setup, breakdown, and daily execution
  • Coordinate with venue staff and maintain strong on-site relationships
  • Run daily briefings and end-of-day closeout meetings
  • Approve timecards and support payroll processes
  • Manage expenses and reporting using company systems
  • Monitor guest experience and floor operations, ensuring consistency and quality

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of leadership or management experience in fast-paced environments
  • Proven ability to manage teams, schedules, and logistics simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills with a direct, confident leadership style
  • Experience in events, live entertainment, touring, or operations (highly preferred)
  • Comfortable with travel-heavy roles and non-traditional schedules
  • Ability to balance authority with team dynamics in a close-knit, traveling environment

Nice to Have

  • Event Manager, Tour Manager, or Live Production background
  • Experience working in traveling or touring roles
  • Familiarity with basic tools like Excel or HR systems (e.g., Paycom)
