Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support operations and field leadership across a diverse portfolio of public and commercial construction projects. This role plays a key part in project planning, scheduling, and coordination while working closely with Superintendents and Operations leadership to ensure successful project execution.

The ideal candidate comes from a General Contractor environment, has strong experience with Microsoft Project scheduling, and enjoys working closely with field teams to support project planning and sequencing.

What We’re Looking For

• 5–10+ years of commercial construction scheduling experience within a General Contractor environment

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project

• Support approximately 15 Superintendents with planning, sequencing, and scheduling strategy

• Conduct regular jobsite visits to review project progress and schedule performance

• Coordinate scheduling across multiple active construction projects

• Partner closely with Operations leadership to support project planning and execution

• Identify schedule risks and proactively recommend mitigation strategies

• Support preconstruction efforts including schedule development during bid and proposal phases

• Serve as a planning resource for project teams and field leadership

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project (required)

• Experience supporting field teams and working directly with Superintendents

• Exposure to larger commercial or public works projects ($50M+ preferred)

• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset

• Comfortable working in a fully onsite, high-interaction environment
