A well-established commercial real estate investment and development firm in Pittsford, NY is looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee full-cycle accounting across a diverse and growing portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, visibility with ownership, and managing accounting across property, development, and corporate operations.

💼 What You’ll Do:

• Manage full-cycle accounting (AP/AR), including ~75 AP bills weekly
• Prepare annual budgets and lead budget meetings
• Produce quarterly financials and investor reports
• Oversee cash management and loan/debt tracking
• Complete CAM reconciliations (12–15 annually)
• Handle development, property, and corporate accounting
• Partner with outside CPA firm (taxes handled externally)
• Oversee Rent Manager and QuickBooks

🏢 Portfolio Overview:

• ~40 properties (25 actively managed)
• 300+ tenants | ~1M square feet
• Primarily commercial office & retail
• Mostly gross leases with utility passthroughs & tax escalations

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
• 2+ years of real estate accounting (commercial preferred)
• Experience with CAM reconciliations
• Ability to work independently and manage all accounting functions
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Public accounting experience (1–2 years) a strong plus
• Experience with Rent Manager (or other property mgmt software) and QuickBooks
