I’m partnering with manufacturing company in Northern Connecticut seeking a strategic, hands-on HR Manager to help lead the next phase of growth.
They need an HR leader who can build structure, strengthen culture, and drive recruiting, retention, and employee development across two facilities.
What You’ll Own:
• Full-cycle recruiting (direct labor + professional roles)
• Reducing turnover and increasing retention
• Building onboarding processes, SOPs & training structure
• Walking the floor daily and building real relationships
• Partnering with leadership to drive accountability & culture change
What They’re Looking For:
• 5–10 years of progressive HR experience
• Manufacturing background
• True generalist – compliance, employee relations, recruiting, training
• Strategic thinker who can work independently
• Tech-savvy (Paylocity experience a plus; interest in modernization)
