About the Role
We’re looking for an Accounting Analyst or Real Estate Accountant with CRE experience, who is or would like to be on a path to CPA licensure. Work directly under a seasoned CPA with deep expertise in commercial real estate, including development and redevelopment projects, portfolio transactions, financing, dispositions, and day-to-day property operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, reports, and general ledger accounts
- Prepare quarterly financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Support bank reconciliations and quarterly close processes
- Process invoices, deposits, and manage A/P and A/R activities
- Organize documentation for audits and tax reporting
- Track construction projects and related expenses
- Ensure deadlines are met and compliance with GAAP and tax standards
- Prepare 1099s and assist with tax return activities
- Collaborate on ad-hoc financial analysis and capital market transactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting (required)
- Eligible or actively pursuing CPA licensure
Required Skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to advance professionally
- Experience with QuickBooks (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years relevant accounting experience preferred
Pay range and compensation package
Full-time, in-office role (40 hours/week)
Competitive pay: $82,500 – $90,000 per year
